Best way to clean a manual razor?

So, I noticed on the back side of my razor, there was hair buildup. That both bugged my OCD and made me think it might affect how well it works, so I took some tweezers and cleaned it out. This is a real pain in the ***, though. How do most people do it, if at all?

I would check to see if the thermostat is working correctly first. then go from there. About the sputtering, you may have a blown head gasket, and or a cracked head. Are metal spokes showing at front of teeth necessary on partial denture for bottom teeth?

I had a fitting for a partial denture recently- 2 back bottom teeth on one side and 1 on the other. Metal. And there are two metal spokes sticking out at front of my teeth, one on each side of my mouth, which I am told are necessary to hold it in place - is this correct? I am conscious that they may show and they seem terribly ugly. Or maybe this is a cheap and nasty version?

The family dog hates me what can I do to change this?

Okay, today in Social Studies, me and a friend, I'll call "Bridget" (protecting the innocent) were working together on a project, and two other girls, "Lauren" and "Emily" were working near my desk. My stuff that I wasn't using was on my desk. So when we had to clean up, long story short I ped by my stuff, which had some scraps on it that were not from my group, and picked up the scraps and chucked them. So Bridget was like "why would you pick up their trash?!" So I have irregular periods, and not ovulating so my OBGYN has put me on Clomid. I have to take it on days 3-7 of my period for 5 days and then I have to make appointment for a sonogram on the 14th day. My doc said I should start counting day 1 even if I am just spotting, so anyways tomorrow is day 3, (and I am indeed only just spotting) so I am taking my first pill tomorrow. I asked the company I bought it with and they said to just plug the Simon XT into the wall, but my wall has phone plugs, and the Simon XT has a 8-pin wire that plugs into it, so I cant simply plug the Simon XT directly into the wall. My wall has Cat-5 cable running through it and they all come up to this Levitron switch that the builder installed for phones to work on. Pet hair making me NUTS!?

I have a 1.5 year old boxer that I love to death, but the HAIR...my god...shes worse then many long haired dogs I've had before. My home has hardwood floors everywhere but my kitchen *go figure* which is carpeted. I have a dirt devil dynamite that was reviewed well for hardwood floors, but the truth is I think I'm just scooting it around...I usually just end up using a good ol' push broom to get it off. What should i do, i think my relationship is going no-where?

i have been with my fiancee for 10 years now nmearly 11. After our first year together he started hitting me and calling me names, even when i was pregnant with our first child. I decided to stay around and see if having the baby would help our relationship. It didnt if anything it got worse and i decided to call it off, which after a couple of weeks he talked me into taking him back and we then got engaged. After a few months i was pregnant again and the it still continued. i know ur probably wondering why i put up with it, but i was in love with him and we had some good times together that i hold onto.After a while my step-dad told him that if he didnt stop he would basically give him a flogging. It worked as he stopped for a few years and we had our third child, by that stage i had been through so much emotional and physical abuse that my feelings were no exsistant. I then decided to end the relationship again. After 2 months apart and having him call every day saying he would change i decided to work things out for our kids sake and i knew i did still love him deep down. Probably the worst mistake ever! the physical abuse was something that happened maybe once or twice a year but the emotionl was all the time tho at the time i didnt realise it. So after a couple of years i decided enough was enough it was affecting me and the kids and called it off again. We were not together for 6 months that time and in that time i started seeing another guy which the relationship failed, but as usual he was hounding me and he would turn up and cry, bringing me flowers and stuiff like that. Making promises and telling me how much he loved me, so stupid me took him back yet again. I know its probably one big headache! well these days he throws stuff at me, he's hit me once after i came home from a night out with friends, he always says im cheating on him because i dont want , he snoops in my phone, he's always wanting detailed answers about what im doing and where ive been. He doesnt like me going out to see friends whilst he is at work, even going to the gym has a sinister reason for him. He says im stupid, makes me feel badly bout the way i dress as he hates all my clothes, he gets grumpy at me all the time basically and when i say no to he starts getting really irate saying im getting it elsewhere and then tells me he might do the same. But we do have good days where everything is perfect and i find if i stay home and do wha he likes me to do the only problem we encounter is the problem. I dunno why i dont want , i just cant b bothered really. we r meant to get married this year and im just scared that maybe im making a wrong decsion or if im blowing things out of proportion. I know i aint perfect, but i trust him and i dont carry on at all if he goes out with friends, like he does to me always saying ill meet a younger guy better than him, or he will make little mouth signals and sounds when i talk about how excited i am as i dont get out much at all these days, even to catch up with friends for coffee. Monroe piercing infected :(?

I've had my monroe pierced for a while, 2 years. It's never been an issue but I woke up this morning with a fat lip. It's pretty sore, and it's hard inside like scar tissue or liquid build up? Alrighty, so I have a little bit of an issue. I have this *amazing* boyfriend. I've always been the type of girl to stick up for something I believe in. today i was on my way home from work and i ran a yellow light at 50 mph.. there was a pedestrian who decided that he would cross the street before the walk signal came on because according to him.. he was in a hurry to get to the other side and smoke a "phat" one.. i braked and he ended up with a few bruises on his knees. half of his bike was also totalled. So is it my fault or his fault? he was jaywalking and when i hit him.. the light had JUST turned red.. my fiance ended up coming to the rescue and paying him 250 for the bike. A couple of witnesses also said that they saw him almost get hit by another semi-truck a couple minutes before i came by. in my honest opinion i think this guy is out for money.. what do u think?

i got into CSULB for aerospace engineering and Cal Poly Pomona for Mathematics. If your really into singing, try taking vocal lessons to widen your range. But if you really want to sing, take whatever song you want, and when it goes to high or low for you to sing, just sing it in the octave in your range (don't know if you know what I mean. If you go to singing lessons, they will show you probably.) I actually don't know of any songs originally in a limited range except for hymns. Maybe try singing hymns (if your religious) at first. If you are having early warning signs a few weeks before a heart attack, is it possible to prevent it?

I'm not saying I'm going to have a heart attack, I'm just curious, though. The last time I had my heart thoroughly checked was like 1 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant and having heart palpitations, but it was nothing, just anxiety. Many tests were done and my heart was looked at and I was told it looked perfectly fine. The past month or so (and I have gained about 30 lbs, yikes), I have sometimes been feeling blah and...I guess uncomfortable. I suspect it's from the weight gain. A few times though I have felt a little ache in my chest, sometimes on one side, sometimes on the other. I just started thinking about it and it got me scared that I might have a heart attack or something..I'm 22, I don't want to die because I'm not living a healthy life. So about 3 days ago, I quit smoking cold turkey and have cut out all the sugar and fat from my diet, eating lots of fruits and vegetables and riding my bike 45 minutes per day. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, if those little aches in my chest were early warning signs of a future heart attack, am I working against it by exercising and eating right? I have been more stressed since I've not had a cigarette in the past 3 days, I'm not sure if that increases my risk or not..does anyone know? Once you've had any early warning signs of an impending heart attack, can you prevent it from happening with diet and exercise?

How safe is it to be walking on a broken ankle liberally?

I broke my ankle about two weeks ago and the doc gave me a set of crutches and told me no weight bearing for another two weeks, then a walking cast. I hate the crutches and occasionally, like when I'm walking around the house, it's just easier to walk and it doesn't even hurt I feel fine. Last weekend I was hammered drunk and the crutches took too much coordination so I just walked, and it worked fine. I'm young and I have a feeling I heal really quick. So is it alright to put SOME weight on it every now and then? Or am I setting myself back even more?

How do I stop my dog howling in his sleep?

The only thing I can think of is just to wake him up nicely, like a soft pat on the back or something till he wakes up, or calling his name till he wakes up and then comforting him and telling him it's ok. Dog's can't really speak obviously so he won't be able to tell you what it was about but maybe just some comforting will help. And other than that just try to get some sleep in between these howling nightmares and perhaps if he's comforted after them on a regular basis they might happen less often or hopefully not happen at all anymore.

She suspects everyone of shoplifting and will call the police if you even look crossways at her. The woman HERSELF posted online and said she threw a woman out for looking about 5 seconds into a mirror in her store, as she thought other customers would not want to see her "conduct her personal grooming habits" and that it might scare away people. Really. And the woman HERSELF says that she doesn't want people touching items. I mean it when I say these are regular, cheaply made bath salts and shampoos. Nothing expensive. I had a personal experience with her that was one of the most terrifying of my life. I was shopping with my mother and my mother picked up a bath salt I believe and tried to smell it. The woman came rushing over and screamed for us to leave, multiple times shrieking that she would call the cops. I was shaking when I left. She also took several aggressive steps towards my mother before I glared at her and slowly backed out of the store. It was horrifying. I want this place shut down and I want it shut down NOW.

Ever since last night at 5:30, I have had unbelievably terrible pains in my stomach. So when I got home from a field trip (I'm 13). my mom rushed me to childrens' emergency hospital. They felt my stomach and gave me some advil, and then told me to come back if the pain continued into the morning. So I came back, and they put an IV in me to fill my bladder in order for me to have an ultrasound to see if I had appendicitis. It turns it I had a cyst on my ovary which exploded, causing serious pains in my stomach. They knew this because my right ovary was bigger than the left as there was a fluid circling it. It also means that I will be getting my period in the next month or so, as I haven't had it yet. Has anyone heard of this happening before, especially to a 13 year old girl? Thanks!

Why are women so complicated? I've never met one woman who could be normal..........?

This is not to be taken offense to, but I have never met one female in my life ( that includes my own mom ) who had emotional stability, a rational mind, and were cool when something bad happended. It's like their brains are incapable of handling stressful cirstances and they go overboard with emotion's. I only say this because of my messed up dating life. I am a nice guy but with alot of backbone. I am good to them and that scares them. It shouldn't but they always come up with reason's why they can't talk to me anymore and it hurt's me. It is like I am not allowed to voice my own opinions, have anything my way, and they just don't know how to have a genuine argument or conversation without having issue's arise. I know I am smart to be single but I think God really messed up when he constructed female's from the male body but who know's. I just want an answer preferable from men and non feministic women who have something valuable to say, nothing rude or smart a@@.

Hardwood floors or ceramic tile. Your preference?

I just went through this process in the summer, but I used contractors. We had a designer. I wanted tile in the kitchen, but since we opened everything up between the kitchen and the den we went with hard wood in the kitchen. So in the end, the bathrooms and the laundry/mud room was tiled, and the rest of the house was hard wood. We went with three different widths for the hard wood. Using rugs in the bed rooms and the rest of the rooms sets off the room. If you are going to do the hardwood floors the old fashion way by laying, sanding, and coating, then I would not hesitate putting the hardwood in the kitchen because the floor is sealed. If you plan on installing pre finished hard wood flooring then I would go with ceramic tile in the kitchen. But you need to consider the layout of your house. If you have an open plan, it is best to use the same flooring throughout. The interior looks more uniform and appealing to the eye. One thing I noticed about the tile compared to the tile we used to have is the grout line. The grout line in the tile that was laid this summer was much thinner. This gave the bathrooms a much more elegant and modern look. It simply looks marvelous. Lastly, nix the carpet and go with rugs. Pick rugs to enhance the decor in each room, so that each room has its own personality. Hardwood sells and carpet does not. The buyer can always decide to put carpet in if they want too. One last piece of advice. Make sure you have the humidity checked under the house. If the humidty is high, like above 14%, your hard wood flooring can start to cup, or warp over time. Even if this does occur, if you get the humidity down and controlled, then the wood floor will go back to normal over time. Good luck.

i have a 29 gallon fw tank with plain aquarium gravel and a stand aquarium hood and fluorescent lighting id like to try some live plants but don't know what will work and be easy as i have 2 gold mystery snails and 2 black ones, 8 zebra danios ,1 dwarf gourami ,3 sword tails, a gold fish ,1 female betta, 1 pleco, 1 kissing gourami, 3 corydoras ,1 Colombian shark (sm),and some ghost shrimp....the tank has a tetra 30-60 gal filter and air stone in it

PacMan Frog - VERY CONCERNED?

A few minutes ago, I picked up my pacman frog, and ran it under water... it seemed to have some sort of slimy brown-red substance on it... I don't know what the **** is going on. I'm not sure of the gender, but it lives with a male Australian White tree frog. As far as I know, neither of them can eat each other. Do I need to bring it to the vet? Can my ex-husband's new wife block me from calling my daughter?

My ex-husband and I have a 5 year old daughter. I am the custodial parent but at times if there is an opportunity I will let him spend more time then granted in our custody agreement. I only do this for my daughter and because he is in the army and often deploys for long periods of time. At the moment she is staying with him in the Alexandria, LA but our custody agreement and my daughter live in North Carolina. I was being nice because she starts kindergarten in the fall and wont be able to see him as much and he is deploying again in the fall however, I am starting to become quite angry with the situation. Why do some emails show up blank in Firefox?

A couple of days ago, some emails started appearing blank. However, when I switch to IEv7(technically, IE's rendering engine embedded in Firefox), they show up just fine. If it matters any, I've been using the clic mail interface. If possible I would like to resolve this quickly and without abandoning Firefox. I cannot stand the UI of the new IE.

Why do white collar folks ume construction workers are morons?

I have found the same attitude in alot of white collar people I know. My answer to them has always been that they wouldn't have a house or condo to live in or a office to work out of, no bridges, damns for hydro, subways, streets, or heaven forbid, a place to buy your coffee in the morning. If it wasn't for the construction workers, where would we be? The white collars would be rendered useless. Everything has a balance and a place. You need both to survive.

What do you think of people talking on cell phones in a car?

I have been guilty of using my cell phone in the car at times. But I always see especially during rush hour in the morning, people on their cells in one hand, using the other hand for smoking or drinking their coffee, and no hands on the steering wheel. Then they are swerving towards me in my car and start to get into the lane I am in without so much as even a thought to what is going on outside their car like it is okay to be in another whole world while driving.

all electroncs work stong when i attempt to start the radio and some lights on dash go out. i put my jumper pack on it and it made no diffrence at all. i just installed a new battery and starter. i do not think it is the clutch switch because of the power draw when i attempt to turn over. i could be mistaking. so do you think the starter i slocked up? i dont her clicking from the solenoid so i dont know why voltage draw would take place ? its pissin me off and have to pop start it every time

Auto loan limited credit history?

I need a car after driving my 1986 toyota with no problems it finnaly went out . thing is i dont have much credit history nor do i have someone to co sign for me. Does anyone know how to read the clearblue easy fertility monitor stick manually?

My doc said on Sunday that i should ovulate either Monday or Tuesday based on my sonogram. Monday was a bust. I did not ovulate though it looked like I was gearing up for it. Well then today I peed on the sticks this morning and my monitor just said high (it always says that since I have PCOS) as usual. The second test that you read manually that I bought to back up my monitor looked like it could be positive either way. Both lines were even and it was too close to call. Well my doc told me to test twice a day with un-concentrated urine. So I just drank 3 gles of water and went to test again a second ago. The one i read manually is full on positive. No doubt about it.The one I used for my monitor has two bold lines. The line near the pee wick is slightly darker but they are both dark. I have NEVER had two dark lines like this and I have never ovulated before (first time on clomid) Do you know if that means positive? I made an appointment this morning for another sonogram and a LH test tomorrow morning since I hadn't tested positive yet for ovulation. Should I just go or should I call them before hand telling them I think I might be ovulating? Its important cuz I am getting an IUI. I dunno what to do. Since I have PCOS I noticed if I tested in the afternoon with concentrated urine it would ALWAYS be positive no matter what day it was. My pee didnt seem extra concentrated but now I am still unsure if my PCOS is getting in the way!
