Where are the popular/big gay communities located at?

I hate where I live because there's not a big gay community...like there is one but it's kinda small and the male:male ratio is probably odd, so therefore not everyone is going to have a partner. Otherwise there's a whole lotta discreet people that I see on craigslist....where can I move that has a big gay community?
