Atheists, what is your opinion of LaVeyan or atheistic 'Satanism'?

I don't know much about LaVey, but it seems like he enjoys the shock value of the term "Satanism" and is an attention seeker more than anything else. I personally do not feel that I have any need for what he is selling.
