His family is not American. Should we start a family?

I am american and my bf of two years is asian. I have met his family several times and they don't speak english. He translates for me so we can talk to each other. I go over to their home alot and we have sort of developed our own way of communication. At first they wanted him to date inside his race, but he explained that I made him happy so they are making the effort with me. So together we make it work. HOWEVER, my family on the other hand is extremely racist and refuses to meet my bf. I graduated college and my bf and I just moved into a house near his parents. I think if he is really into you and you are into him you can find a way to make it work. Sometimes you have to be the better person and rise above the BS, but if your realtionship is worth it than you will find a way to do it. Just work together with your partner, that's is what relationships are all about. I used to feel that you had to have the support of each others family, but when it comes in between your relationship just realize you have to be happy.
