Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series - by Laurell K. Hamilton ... ? & Sherrilyn Kenyon ...?

this series has lots of books. i loved the first 10 or so and then it turned into . she had so often there was no longer a plot. i would read the books in order and skip the last half dozen of the series completely. the first couple books would be fine for a mature teen (there is gore) but the later ones are far too sleazy for most adults i know. i dont mind a book that contains adult content if it fits the story but it becomes the entire story and the series got boring.
