What are some tips to "fancy up" a regular dinner?

sorry but if you want something fancy chicken is the least fancy meat dish to make. Try duck, or primerib. Or to make it even better add some seafood, shrimp, scallops, crab or lobster. Fancy diners come in courses so have an appetizer, salad, soup, entree, and desert. Creme brulee is the fanciest... For the salad make it with blue cheese or feta some mixed greens, trail mix and a simple balsamic vinegerette. the soup should be simple those garden rosted soups are fantastic, just heat it up. with the main course, asperagus is fancy and make some sourcream and chive mashed potatoes. The appetizer could be a shrimp tail, scallops, crab cakes, sushi,... If you dont want to do any of that just add a gl of white wine to your chicken dish...
